Worship
As you saw on our home page, we firmly believe in worship as the starting point for all other ministries of the church. It is when the people of God gather as one to be in the Divine presence that we draw strength as the body of Christ to do the Lord's work. Worship is on God's terms, not ours. At Pharr Chapel UMC, we recognize that not everyone has the same preferred style of corporate worship, but we do realize that for us to be as well-rounded in the faith as possible, we cannot allow ourselves to be limited to one form of worship. Thus, in our morning worship service, we attempt to incorporate different elements on a regular basis that allow us to be in position to hear what God has to say to us as a community when we gather together as one.
